We all feel proud to say/claim that we are natives of a prestigious place Podagatlapalli.and belong to renowned Kompella Family.
I am Grand Son of Sri.(Late) Kompella Peranna,and Smt.(Late)K.Maha Lakshmi and Son of Sri.(Late) K.Soma Suryudu, and Smt.(Late) K.Naga Lakshmi, who hail from Podagatlapali village of Ravulapalem Mandal of East Godavari District. My father retired as Settlement Officer,(Dy.Collector's rank) Visakhapatnam.My Mother Smt.(Late) K.Naga Lakshmi, is the eldest daughter of Sri.(Late) Narumanchi Chenna Krishnaiah, a doyen of Shipping Business of Kakinada.
I am Retired Associate Professor in Commerce. Presently I am working as Principal, KGR Institute of Technology and Management, Rampally, Hyderabad
I have Two Brothers and One Sister. My first younger Brother, Mr.K.venkateswarlu, M.Com, B.L., ICWA,CAIIB presently working as Asst General Manager, Bank of Baroda at Bombay. His wife Chy.sow Lakshmi Sameeraja is a Prolific writer. Their son Mr. Pushya Mitra is pursuing B.Tech. My Youngest brother Mr. K.Rama Krishna, M.Tech, presently working as technocrat working in U.K. His wife Chy.sow Santi is a technocrat working in UK Their daughters Chy.Tanishta and Chy. Harshita are studying IInd and UKG respectively.
My only sister Chy.Sow S.Maha Lakshmi,M.A, wife of Sreepada Shyam Sunder,M.Sc., Managing director, Sylan Laboratories, Hyderabad.Their elder son is Mr.S.Sarath Chandra Prabhakar, is a technocrat working in MNC, Hyderabad and daughter Ms. Siri Mounica is pursuing medicine.
I am having two daughters Chy.Y.N.V.Surya Kumari wife of Mr.Yenamandra Satya Subrahmanya Srinivasa Prasad B.Sc., MBA, presently working as Senior Officer in Dr.Reddy's Lab, Hyderabad. Second daughter Chy.Sow. Kalyana Jyothsna, wife of Mr.Yeleswarapu Bala Subrahmanyam,M.C.A Sr.Testing Engineer in Computer Associates, Hyderabad. All my daughters and son-in-laws are post graduates. My lovely and affectionate grand Son Mr. Y. Naga Venkata Santosh Bhaskara Sastry and grand daughter Ms. Sesha Sai Satvika are studying 6th class and 2nd class respectively.
My wife Chy.Sow.K.Venkata Ratnam, M.A.B.Ed is a house Maker. Her father is Sri GLN Sastry, Retired Asst. Post Master General, whose family hails from Mogallu near Bhimavaram.
My family places high priority to Traditional values, Sentiments, Love and Affection.

I am Kompella Bala Subrahmanya Sarma, grand son of Sri Kompella Subrahmanya Sastry garu and our Babayya garu Sri Kompella Lakshmana Avadhanulu garu was a Vedic Scholar who used to stay in the said village till recently.
